MFG Day Success

On October 4th, 15th and 16th Pro-Active Engineering and over 2,700 other manufacturers participated in the nationwide celebration and education movement called MFG day. Over 60 students, 30 customers, and members of the community attended Pro-Active Engineering’s first official MFG day. Paul Schwanbeck led six tours of Pro-Active Engineering’s production facility, a hands-on demonstration, and a presentation on American high-tech manufacturing.

Additional Tariffs

Trade tensions between China and America continue to flare and new tariffs have gone into effect. On September 24th a 10% tariff on all printed circuit boards made in and imported from China went into effect. On January 1st, 2019 the second phase of this law goes into effect and the tariff increases to 25% on all printed circuit boards and assemblies made in and imported from China. Click below to read the letter we already sent to customer about the tariffs and possible mitigation strategies.
