With a Certified IPC trainer on staff, Pro-Active Engineering is committed to advancing our employees knowledge with industry skills training and industrial standards IPC classes. Every production employee is certified to IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. Our materials sourcing staff use the internationally accepted IPC Standards to facilitate communications as we source components and collaborate globally with our suppliers.

At Pro-Active Engineering, we use industry leading Mycronic
& MYDATA SMT machines. Their robust feature-set allows for swift, accurate
placement of the smallest components even on the most complex boards. Our SMT
machines have a built-in quality control system called the Mycronic Electronic
Verification System. During the centering process, the SMT machine measures the
values of transistors, resistors, capacitors, diodes and even the orientation
of active and polarized components. These measurements help prevent incorrect component placement and dramatically reduce time-consuming rework.
Another point in our multi-step verification process is our
Nordson Yestech FX Automated Optical Inspection machine. This advanced AOI machine is able to detect
solder & lead defects, lifted leads, component presence and position, part
verification, polarity, through-hole parts, and coplanarity of chips.
